Here's what's happening:
- Bryan is recording his third solo album, For People Like Us, at Would Work Sound studios in Hollywood with producers Evan Frankfort (Liz Phair, Pete Yorn, Rancid, Wallflowers) and Marc 'Doc' Dauer (Jukebox Junkies, Minnie Driver, Pete Yorn). Recording is underway and sounding amazing - Bryan's being joined by some amazingly talented guest musicians and the album's slated for release in 2009. One of the songs, The Breakdown (penned by producer Evan Frankfort), is scheduled to appear in an upcoming episode of the new 90210 series...stay tuned!!!
- BM recently opened for OLD 97s frontman RHETT MILLER at The Brixton in Redondo Beach CA. Thanks to all those who came out to support - the show was amazing. Rhett even invited BM onstage to sing R.E.M.'s classic 'Driver 8' with him...the highlight of Bryan's night! Go to the Pictures gallery to see some shots...
- BM was a featured artist on Billboard.com's 'Billboard Underground' series - an online performance/interview video. Bryan performed his new song 'Moments Like This Don't Come Along (For People Like Us)' and you can view it HERE
- Bryan was recently a Top 5 Finalist in LA-based radio station Star 98.7fm's 'Rock Star' contest with a shot at a recording deal with ATO Records (founded by Dave Matthews). Out of nearly 1,000 entries, he made it all the way to the top and was also voted 'Fan Favorite', with most online votes!
- MySpace TV's original series Roommates - Season 2 is currently featuring Bryan's 'Count to Ten' in two of it's episodes!
